What badges represent

• “Support level” based on tips + subscriptions + activity

• Examples: Bronze / Silver / Gold / Diamond or themed badges (VIP, OG, Superfan)

How ranks are calculated

• Points system:

  • Tip amount (weighted)

  • Subscription status (active months / streak)

  • Engagement (posts/comments/reactions) (optional)

• Time windows: All-time / Monthly / Weekly

• Anti-abuse rules (refunds remove points, suspicious activity throttled)

Where badges show

• On fan profile in creator portal

• Next to fanboard posts + comments

• Leaderboards (“Top Tippers”, “Biggest Fans”, “Rising Fans”)

Creator controls

• Choose badge names + icons (theme per portal)

• Enable/disable badges entirely

• Manual promote/demote (optional) (e.g., “Moderator”, “VIP Guest”)

• Hide anonymous users from rankings

Fan experience

• Badge progress bar (“20 pts to reach Gold”)

• Notifications when ranking up

• Optional perks tied to rank (discounts, early access, exclusive posts)
